Harumph. I'm getting ready for the fat full moon. I thought it was in full force today, but it looks like it won't cross into Taurus until later this evening. Brace yourselves!

Today I got to work in an un-cranky mood. I was feeling pretty good, had a nice outfit on; I've been recently getting along with my coworkers and everything was fine. Plus yesterday at trucking I learned how to PARALLEL PARK an after several tries, I got it (mostly) so I was happy about that. And I fell asleep early and got a really good nights' sleep.

I wasn't ten minutes at my desk when Joy came up to me and snickered. She said the guys in the adjoining room said I was really stressed out.

I said, "Huh?"

She looked kind of stunned and repeated it. I asked who, but she wouldn't tell me. Said that they were all talking about how stressed I was.

GRR! I was NOT stressed! But I was getting stressed thinking I was the subject of office gossip. I went to the help desk to talk to Caren, and I told them what Joy had said. Judith said that she'd seen me way worse, and besides, when I got stressed, I got sick. I had no idea what the hell she was talking about, and that made me even MORE mad. WTF??? I really truly have issues with people thinking I have issues.

I cleansed the palette good and proper with a couple of goodies tonight. A nice long chat with Adrienne, with whom I hadn't yakked in too long... led me to this amazing article about gender. It's done substituing "white" for "man" and it's phenomenal. As you may recall, I despise the gender binary more than anything. This really drills it home.

Secondly, I thought I was going to explode with squee-ness with this gem from Bonnie... it's kitty conversation!!!

I think I need to put on flannel now. And play some more mindless nonosweeper. I made the high score grid today! LOL Actually I think I need to glue gun the trim onto my costume.
