Montyollie because I guess deep down I'm like most women of a certain age, and I picked a unique username years go after my two dead tuxedo cats, and it stuck. If you google it, I'm the only montyollie around.

Jo because I really really disliked Joanne and most people who were close to me called me Jo anyway. I like the gender neutrality of it, and I like that it's only two letters long.

"Open Source Activism : for the audience favouring anthemic, bombastic arena rock" because I saw that recently in an article about why the latest raids against $cientology are actually successful (vs in years gone by)... it's because the internet and anything open source is so magical and allows you to particpate and be active in a way that you never could before. The subtitle was something I gakked from something I saw online when I was getting heavy into anthemic bombastic arena rock, and I LOVE it. BTW, I only recently changed the blog name to 'Open Source Activism' -- up until very recently, it was called "Crescendo" for obvious reasons. I get to a fever pitch sometimes.
