-- A shitload of stuff... got my truck driving licence. Drove 30,000 km around North America and knocked almost all the states and provinces off my 'to see before I die' list. Stayed at a job I *despised* (normally I quit those... LOL)
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
-- I only make new year's resolutions in March at the start of the astrological new years. So it's not applicable for me at this time of the year.

-- Dionne had that little baby, Odin. I saw him when he was less than 48 hours old.

-- My aunt died, as well as my cousin's husband. I was not close to either.

-- USA and Canada
6. What would you like to have in 2009 that you lacked in 2008?
-- Serenity with regards to work and my fixation on what those fuckers think of me.

-- July 28th was my first day of my mega-vacation. September 17th and 27th were the only two days I had to track, as they were the days I picked up and dropped off Hils for her portion of the roadtrip.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
-- Getting my ACZ trucking licence. Passing that road test. WHEE!
9. What was your biggest failure?
-- Letting work continue to get to me.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
-- Nothing comes to mind. A few colds and bruises, but nothing major. I had to deal with severe/chronic asthma at years' end... that was something.

-- a minivan

-- Not sure about that.

-- a guy at work who has the WORST attitude of anyone I've ever met, ever, in the history of ever. I wanted to punch him in the head. He depressed the fuck out of me.

-- Most of it went where it usually goes (living) but the smaller percentage went to my road trip. About 40% of my total take for the year (salary plus inheritance) went to the roadtrip.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
-- Inheriting money and blowing it all. My roadtrip. Visiting with all the cool people in my life. Finally getting to see the Yukon.
16. What song will always remind you of 2008?
-- Sadly, it's a cross between that stupid "I kissed a girl and I liked it" and some of the country music I got hooked on, such as "Let It Go" by Tim McGraw or "Don't Think I Don't Think About It" by Darius Rucker. Or maybe the Chicken Fried song. LOL

-- I turned 36, and spent in with Grant and Jill in Winnipeg. I had a FABULOUS day, and at one point I was on the water bus, and four out of six of us (including the captain or driver or whatever you call him) had our birthdays that day (August 1st). We went for hot pot at Mongo's for supper and it was DELIGHTFUL. One of the best birthdays in recent memory.
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
-- If I could have landed a job in BC and quit the godforsaken one I have now.

-- LOL Earthtones and comfy. Some things never change.

-- MISHA!!! I had already met Paloma a few years ago, so she doesn't count. Meeting Misha (and Tim, her husband) was one of the highlights, for sure. AND Sam and Bill, Jill G., Melissa (Paige's GF), Anastasia, Mary and the kids come to mind. Plus, seeing the people (like Lindsay, Grant, Paige, Hils) that I already knew was VERY cool.

-- It's not personal. For real. YOU are not the reason people are behaving the way they are. Quite frankly, it's got nothing to do with you, so stop thinking like you are the center of the universe. LOL

-- Oh jeez. Quite likely recently at work. HA! I don't get that kind of angry often, but yeah, when it rears its ugly head, I can't say I haven't wanted to.
